Its been a little too long for our liking since we last blogged and we are absolutely excited about putting this wedding up from the last weekend of March.
Sandra and Wei-Loong shared a passion that held strong beyond state borders. They would commute back and forth between Brisbane and Sydney until Sandra made the decision to pack her belongings and move up state. And we’re glad she did!
The beauty about weddings and wedding couples is that no two are the same. We love being immersed in new ideas and customs and learning from our couples. Personally, what I can take from this wedding is the importance of parent/child relationships. It was heart warming to hear stories like Sandra being proud that her parents never missed a dancing performance as she progressed through her dancing career. It was just as nice to learn Wei-Loong has a monthly coffee with his dad, and a few years ago went on a boys trip to europe where their bond grew even stronger.
Stories like these provide inspiration to me as a father as well as bring a swell of ideas for how I can enrich the relationship I have with my own parents.
It’s these little stories that we love about weddings and we hope to learn and become all the better from them!
