Priscilla & James, Melbourne

If you’re a frequent flyer on our blog, you are used to Andrew’s nice blog entries -filled with lovely words, coherent sentences and an interesting story line. It’s a tough act to follow, so it’s totally ok if you skip my rambles and scoot through to the photos! (Also, this is officially the first time I’ve made an entry on my own -start to finish- I feel like I should receive a certificate or something! I have passwords and access codes people, this is serious! haha)

If you have been around our blog, you may have noticed the occasional photos taken on film. It just so happens that I recently went on a three day workshop in Canberra called Film Is Not Dead where I was immersed in three days of creative shooting with great photographers from all over Australia (more on that in another entry, with hyper links etc, that’s just getting a little too advanced for me!). So when I met Priscilla (who is living in Melbourne at the moment) and she told me how she appreciates the art of film photography, I could have jumped out of my skin with excitement and offered to photograph her and the lovely James on old school film. It also just so happened that after my workshop we were heading to Perth for a wedding and we had a day spare in between – just enough for a stop over to have a coffee and a portrait shoot.

x Alex
